The Telangana government has released ₹90 crore for land acquisition for Mamunur Airport, following proposals from the Hanamkonda District Collector. A total of 280.3 acres will be acquired for the airport’s development. Earlier, in July 2025, ₹205 crore was also sanctioned. These steps mark key progress toward the expansion of aviation infrastructure.
