Punjab Unveils New Policy For Play Schools To Ensure Child Health

Punjab’s Minister of Social Security, Baljeet Kaur, introduced new regulations for private play schools to improve early childhood care. The policy focuses on health, safety, and intellectual development, with mandatory teacher-student ratios, hygiene standards, and regular health checks. CCTV monitoring and a ban on junk food are also included.
