After the escalating TGSRTC strike and the death of RTC driver Shankar Goud, Telangana police have been placed on high alert with security tightened at bus depots statewide. Meanwhile, the RTC Joint Action Committee held an emergency meeting, paying tribute to Shankar and discussing future steps. Later, JAC leaders are expected to head to the Secretariat.
