BJP Leader Urges Center To Stop All WAQF Registrations Until JPC Proceedings Finish

BJP leader and Karnataka LoP, R Ashoka, alleged that hasty attempts are being made in the state to register lands claimed by Waqf Board in anticipation of an amendment to Waqf Act. He urged Union Home minister Amit Shah and Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) Chairperson to instruct the state to immediately stop all such registrations to Waqf Board until JPC proceedings are complete.
