Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has extended wishes to LK Advani on being conferred the Bharat Ratna Award. CM Saha also thanked President Modi and Prime Minister Modi for this significant decision. It is known that the Bharat Ratna Award is the highest civilian honour in India.
The veteran leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), LK Advani, stressed that he has been inspired by the motto ‘Idam-na-mama. Advani also expressed his gratitude to BJP workers, RSS Swayamsevaks was worked in his long journey in public life.
Prime Minister Modi also shared two pictures of him with BJP veteran leader LK Advani. It is known that Lal Krishna Advani served as the 7th Deputy Prime Minister of India from 2002 to 2004. Advani is also one of the main co-founders of the BJP and a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
In fact, LK Advani is the longest-serving Union Minister of Home Affairs and the longest-serving Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. However, Advani was also the prime ministerial candidate of the BJP during the 2009 Lok Sabha polls.
