Punjab DIG Caught Red-Handed Taking Bribe, Arrested By CBI

Punjab’s Ropar DIG Harcharan Bhullar was arrested by the CBI after being caught red-handed accepting a ₹5 lakh bribe. Acting on a complaint, the CBI conducted surveillance for 10 days and raided multiple locations, including his offices in Mohali, Ropar, and Chandigarh. Bhullar allegedly ran a long-standing bribery operation to settle cases.
