Former Telangana MLA Jaggareddy announced he would never contest again from Sangareddy, recalling his defeat in the 2023 TG polls despite Rahul Gandhi campaigning for him. He said the experience left him feeling humiliated, as if summoned and insulted. Jaggareddy declared he would stay away from campaigning even if his wife Nirmala entered the fray in future.
