BRS Wants To Move Privilege Motion Against FM Over False Debt Data

BRS sought Speaker Gaddam Prasad’s approval for a Privilege Motion against Telangana Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramakra. BRS alleged that the government inflated Telangana’s debt to ₹7 lakh crore, which contradicts Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) report, which pegged the debt at ₹3.89 lakh crore. “Finance Minister’s statements misled the assembly and people of Telangana,” KTR said.
