Senior Cop Martyred In Sukma IED Blast; Two Officers Injured

Chhattisgarh ASP Akash Rao Girepunje was martyred and two officers injured in an IED blast by Naxalites in Sukma’s Konta area. The officers were patrolling after a reported arson attack. Girepunje succumbed to serious injuries. CM Vishnu Deo Sai and Deputy CM Vijay Sharma paid tribute, vowing consequences for the perpetrators.
