A roadside bomb struck a convoy of 12 foreign diplomats, including representatives from Russia and Iran, visiting northwest Pakistan’s Swat Valley, killing a police officer. The diplomats, invited to showcase the area as a tourist destination, were unharmed and returned safely to Islamabad.
