TG Governor JD Varma Clears Key TG Electoral Reform

The Telangana govt’s recent ordinance permitting individuals with more than two children to contest local body polls has received the approval of TG Governor Jishnu Dev Varma. The Law Dept is set to publish the official gazette today, bringing the new provision into effect and officially amending the previous restriction on eligibility for local polls.
