AAP MLA Accused Of Assaulting Delhi Jal Board Employee

Aam Aadmi Party MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi has been booked for allegedly assaulting a Delhi Jal Board employee at a sewage pumping station in Model Town, northwest Delhi. The complaint, filed by 59-year-old Satpal Singh, claims the MLA slapped him and struck him with shoes during a dispute over a pump’s operation. An FIR has been registered, for obstructing and assaulting a public servant.
