Vijay’s TVK Seeks National Law Against Honour Killings

Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay’s TVK party has filed a petition in the Supreme Court demanding a special law against honour killings. Filed by TVK general secretary Adhav, the plea follows the recent murder of a Dalit software engineer in Tamil Nadu. While some states have laws, TVK urges a uniform national law to address such crimes.
