Andhra Pradesh govt has announced a big New Year relief for citizens by absorbing TrueUp charges totaling ₹4,497 crore. The waiver covers electricity consumption between 2019 and 2024, with the state shouldering the burden. This follows a previous record relief of ₹923 cr granted in Sept 2025, marking a continued effort by the govt to ease electricity costs.
