Congress Protests In Araku Valley Against Hike In Electricity Charges

Several Andhra Pradesh Congress leaders staged a massive protest at the Four Road Junction in Araku Valley, holding lamps to demand the withdrawal of increased electricity charges across the state. Senior Congress leader Shantikumari criticized the NDA government, which had promised not to raise electricity charges if it came to power, but is now doing so under the guise of “adjustment.”
