5.6-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Afghanistan, Tremors In Hindu Kush

A 5.6-magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan on Wednesday, with tremors felt across the Hindu Kush region, according to EMSC. The quake struck 164 km east of Baghlan, at a depth of 121 km. No injuries or damage were reported. This is the second quake this month. Afghanistan lies in an earthquake-prone area due to active fault lines.
