In a key move, the Andhra Pradesh govt tabled two key bills in the Legislative Assembly. The Assigned Lands Amendment Bill was introduced by Minister Angani Satya Prasad, while Minister Dola Veeranjaneyaswamy presented legislation to rename village and ward secretariats. Under the proposal, they will now be known as Swarnagram and Swarnaward Secretariats.
