Maharashtra will hold elections for 29 municipal corporations, including BMC, on January 15, 2026, with results on January 16. Over 2,869 corporators will be elected, and more than 3 crore voters will use EVMs. Nomination filing is from December 23–30, and campaigning ends 24 hours before polling. Special rules apply for duplicate voters.
