A Bangladesh court has sentenced ousted PM Sheikh Hasina to 21 years in three corruption cases over illegal plot allocations, ruling in her absence. Her children also received five-year terms. Hasina was earlier sentenced to death by the ICT for 2024 unrest. Bangladesh has requested her extradition from India, which is reviewing the plea.
