Former Union Minister KP Unnikrishnan has passed away today in Kozhikode, his family revealed. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital amid age-related ailments. Unnikrishnan served six consecutive terms as a MP from 1971 to 1996 and held key portfolios, including Telecommunications, Shipping and Surface Transport, during his distinguished career.
