Hemant Soren Stakes Claim To Form Govt In Jharkhand

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) executive president Hemant Soren met the governor on Sunday to stake his claim to form the government following the JMM-led alliance’s victory in the Assembly elections. He also resigned as Jharkhand’s Chief Minister. Soren, elected as the legislature party leader by the INDIA bloc, announced his oath-taking ceremony for November 28.
