2 Rajya Sabha Seats In Telangana To Go Unopposed To Congress

In Telangana, Congress candidates Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Vem Narender Reddy filed nominations for the state’s two vacant Rajya Sabha seats. With no opposition nominations, both are expected to be elected unopposed, as the BRS party chose not to contest. This will increase Congress’s representation in the Upper House from the state.
