BJP Demands Suspension Of Cops For Lathicharge On Panchamasali Protesters

The BJP has demanded Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah’s apology and action against police officers responsible for the lathi-charge on Panchamasali protesters seeking reservation under the 2A category. The opposition accused the government of suppressing democratic rights. However, Home Minister G Parameshwara defended the police, claiming the action was necessary.
