‘One Nation, One Election’ Bill Set For Introduction In Parliament

The Union Cabinet has approved the ‘One Nation, One Election’ Bill, which aims to hold simultaneous Lok Sabha and state assembly elections. The bill will be introduced in Parliament during the ongoing Winter session and referred to a Joint Parliamentary Committee. Supporters, including former President Ram Nath Kovind and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
