Congress MLA Naveen Yadav, who won the Jubilee Hills by-election with a huge majority, is likely to be appointed as the government whip. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy is planning to give him this post after he takes oath as an MLA. There are currently three whips, with the possibility of appointing four more.
