The Supreme Court transferred the RG Kar Medical College trainee doctor rape-murder case to the Calcutta High Court to monitor implementation of its orders. The apex court directed sharing status reports with the victim’s parents. The case, which sparked nationwide protests, will now be overseen by an appropriate high court bench.
