Two Assam Journalists Return Govt-Gifted Smartphones

Two Assam journalists, Umanand Jaiswal and Bikash Singh, returned Samsung Galaxy F17 phones gifted by the state government ahead of Assembly elections. Over 2,200 journalists registered with the DIPR are set to receive the phones by Magh Bihu. Distribution began at CM Himanta Biswa Sarma’s press conference, continuing via district commissioners.
