Congress Dominates TG Panchayat Polls With Clear Majority

Congress won over 53% of Sarpanch posts in Telangana’s Gram Panchayat elections held in three phases. The party secured 6,822 seats, while BRS finished second and BJP far behind. Congress won in most districts and claimed two-thirds majority with Independent support. Voter turnout crossed 80%, and new Sarpanches will assume charge on December 22.
