Congress Dominates First Phase Of TG Panchayat Polls

In the first phase of Telangana’s gram panchayat polls, the ruling Congress demonstrated strong rural support by winning 2,383 seats unopposed. BRS secured 1,146 seats amid stiff competition, while BJP won 181 and others claimed 455. The second phase of polling is scheduled for December 14, followed by the third phase on the 17th.
