At the 47th ASEAN Summit, held in Kuala Lumpur, member states welcomed Timor-Leste as the bloc’s 11th member, formalised the upgraded ASEAN-China Free Trade Area 3.0, and saw the signing of the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord resolving the 2025 Cambodia-Thai border crisis.
