Akhilesh Yadav Accuses Govt Of Hiding Mahakumbh Stampede Death Toll

During the 2025 Budget Session, Akhilesh Yadav demanded the release of accurate death toll figures from the Mahakumbh stampede, accusing the government of hiding the count. He criticized the UP administration for focusing on promotions instead of safety measures and claimed the government destroyed evidence using JCBs. Yadav also urged for Mahakumbh security to be handed over to the Army.
