Azam Khan, senior Samajwadi Party leader, was granted bail by Allahabad High Court in the Quality Bar land grab case. He is set to be released from jail. Khan was also acquitted in a 2008 public property damage case. Multiple cases, including forced eviction, have been filed against him over the years.
