Telangana Govt Seeks Approval To Prosecute KTR Over Formula E Funding Issues

Telangana govt has requested Governor Jishnu Dev Varma’s approval to prosecute BRS leader KT Rama Rao over alleged irregularities in the funding of Hyderabad’s first Formula E race. State govt reportedly paid Rs 55 crore to London-based organisers without necessary RBI permissions, during a period when the model code of conduct was in effect under the previous BRS administration.
