Stalin Lays Foundation For ₹1,500 Crore Footwear Plant In TN

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin laid the foundation stone for a Taiwanese footwear manufacturing plant at the SIPCOT Industrial Estate in Ranipet district. The Rs 1,500 crore project by Hong Fu, the world’s second-largest non-leather footwear manufacturer, will create 25,000 jobs. The project is part of Stalin’s plan to make Tamil Nadu a one trillion US dollar economy by 2030.
