CEC Calls For Nationwide SIR, Key Meet On Sept 10

The Election Commission is set to conduct a special nationwide revision of voter lists, mirroring the recent Bihar exercise. CEC Gyanesh Kumar has called a meeting with all state Chief Electoral Officers on September 10. Ahead of next year’s assembly polls, voter registration will be revised in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry.
