TG Govt Scraps Quarterly Tax For Goods Vehicles

In a big relief to goods vehicle operators, the Telangana govt has decided to abolish the long-standing quarterly tax system in the transport sector. The Transport Dept revealed that newly purchased goods vehicles will no longer be required to pay tax every 3 months. Instead, a one-time lifetime tax will be collected at the time of purchase.
