In a piece of great news for farmers, the central government has expanded the ‘PM Fasal Bima Yojana’ from Kharif 2026. It will cover crop losses due to wild animal attacks and prolonged waterlogging or flooding. Farmers must report any wildlife damage within 72 hours through the insurance app with geotagged photos to claim compensation.
