Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann today urged the Centre to revise disaster relief norms, calling current compensation inadequate for flood-hit farmers and communities. Touring affected areas, he demanded ₹50,000 per acre and increased ex-gratia payments. He also requested ₹60,000 cr in pending funds, stressing the severe damage across 1,300 villages and over 3 lakh submerged farmland acres.
