The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is celebrating its 78th Raising Day today, Nov 23, with events across India. Founded on April 16, 1948, through the NCC Act, the organization owes its creation to the recommendations of the Kunzru Committee, headed by Pandit H.N. Kunzru. Commemorative programs will honor its legacy of discipline and service.
