DMK Leader Calls “One Nation One Election” Proposal Unconstitutional

DMK leader TKS Elangovan slammed central government’s “One Nation One Election” proposal. He claimed it to be unconstitutional and will strip states of their powers. Elangovan argued that the initiative goes against federal structure outlined in Constitution. “As per ‘One Nation One Election’, all elections will be conducted along with Parliament election,” he questioned.
