Andhra Pradesh Govt Reconstitutes State Waqf Board With 8 Members

Andhra Pradesh government reconstituted the State Waqf Board on Friday, appointing eight new members a week after dissolving the previous Board. The Minorities Welfare Department issued a Government Order (GO) under the Waqf Act, 1995. Among the elected members, Md Ruhullah, a Member of Legislative Council, and Mutawalli Shaik Khaja were appointed to the Board.
