Polling for Goa’s Zilla Panchayat elections began Saturday with tight security. Voting is underway on all 50 seats from 8 am to 5 pm using ballot papers. About 8.68 lakh voters will decide the fate of 226 candidates from BJP, Congress-GFP, AAP and independents. Vote counting will be held on December 22 across the state.
