Vijay Thalapathy’s TVK Begins Statewide Protests Over SIR

Actor-turned-politician Vijay’s TVK party has started statewide protests across Tamil Nadu over the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Vijay issued a warning that door-to-door verification by Booth-Level Officers will lead to procedural lapses and the wrongful exclusion of legitimate voters.
