Pakistan Court Criticizes Both Govt And PTI Over Violent Protest

A Pakistani high court has criticized both the federal government and Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party over a violent protest on Nov 24 that disrupted Islamabad. The court deemed the protest unlawful and questioned the government’s handling of public order. Chief Justice Aamer Farooq highlighted the disregard for court orders by PTI while also condemning the government’s shutdown of the city.
