BJP vs Mamata Over RSS Chief’s “True Independence” Remark

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee remarked about RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s “true independence” statement. She called the statement “an attempt to distort history”. This drew an immediate response Junior Education Minister Sukunta Majumdar. He called the TMC leader an “anti-national Chief Minister”. He pointed to claims that Banerjee refused to give land for BSF to build a fence last year.
