Former Macharla MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and his brother Venkataramireddy have been remanded to 14 days in judicial custody by Macherla court and shifted to Nellore jail. The duo is accused in a double-murder case. Their bail plea was rejected by Supreme Court, which ordered them to surrender within two weeks, prompting their appearance before the court.
