Jharkhand: Nine Maoists Surrender In With AK-47s

Nine Maoists from the banned JJMP group surrendered to police in Jharkhand’s Latehar district, handing over arms including AK-47s and SLRs. Among them were a zonal commander and four sub-zonal commanders carrying bounties totaling ₹23 lakh. The surrender involved high-value operatives wanted in multiple cases, marking a major breakthrough for security forces.
