Manipur: Kukis Agree To Reopen National Highway-2

The union and the Manipur Govt have finalised a new agreement with Kuki-Zo groups for the state’s territorial integrity ahead of PM Modi’s visit this month. The Kukis agreed to reopen the National Highway-2, which is a key route for the movement of commuters and essential goods. The Kukis vowed to work with the security forces to ensure peace along the key route.
