India Urges IMF To Withhold Loan To PAK Amid Tensions

Amid escalating tensions between the Indian and Pakistani armies, India is preparing to launch economic response against Pakistan. India has informed IMF that any financial aid granted to Pakistan could be diverted to support terrorism. In light of this, the IMF board is scheduled to discuss Pakistan’s loan request on May 9.
