BREAKING: Vaishnaw Tables Online Gaming Bill In Lok Sabha

Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has tabled the ‘Online Gaming Bill 2025’ in the Lok Sabha. The bill bans advertising and financial transactions for real-money games, with penalties of up to three years in jail and ₹1 crore fine. It targets addiction, financial risks, and money laundering, and proposes a regulator with ₹50 crore setup cost.
